At ATC we have specialist teachers who are both trained in Arabic Studies in Middle East and also in Western schooling system to combine the need for proper Arabic context and western context. We believe that the students should be taught by those who has experience of both Islamic culture and western culture to deliver the Islamic values in western mold.

The principal’s vision in ATC is to create a new Muslim generation who can understand the great value of the religion of Islam and try to apply it in our society in Australia.
The principal deeply believes the only way to get the goodness of Islam is to have the right connection with the Holy book of Allah – Al Quran.
Towards achieving that vision the principal is applying his 20+ years of experience in Teaching And Upbringing (Tarbiya ) amongst our Muslim communities in Australia.
Ahmed was born in Egypt and has been living in Australia since 2006. Ahmed got his first Bachelor degree from Egypt in Islamic Tarbiya (parenting). Then he got a second bachelor degree in Arabic and Islamic studies from Al Mansoura university Egypt (2005).
Sheikh Ahmed got his IJAZAA in Quran recitation through a scholar from AL AZHAR university in Egypt in 2016.
Sheik Ahmed got his Masters degree in Business Administration (USA) in 2019 and his PhD in Business Administration (USA) in 2022.
In Australia Dr. Ahmed worked at Al Faisal College from 2009-2012 as an Arabic and Islamic teacher. Then he worked at Al Noory Muslim school as the Arabic and Islamic coordinator 2013-2015.
He introduced a program of the linguistic Tafseer in the Voice of Islam radio station between 2016-2018. He also delivers khutbas and lectures in many different mosques around Sydney and currently he is the Imam of Minchinbury Masjid.
Seeing many Muslim kids that are studying at Arabic and Tafseer college trying to understand the deep meaning of the Quranic words and asking about the actual meaning of these words – not only the translation – makes Ahmed feel proud and happy that ATC is fulfilling its duties towards these kids for the sake of Allah SWT.

Western Sydney University graduate Abu bassem, a linguist and an instructor in the Arabic language, Imam and respected teacher of Islam. After studying Islam in Syria 1998 and Malaysia 2012 he returned to give back to the people of Australia, his country. He studied under high respected worldwide mashayekh Islamic Jurisprudence, Holy Quran and its sciences, Prophetic traditions and Spirituality.
He currently serves as a part time imam at Salhuddine Alayoubi masjid located at south Western Sydney.
He has taught Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies at various schools in Sydney.
He delivers Friday sermons in various Islamic centres and masjids.
He is currently undertaking a Master degree in Islamic Studies.

Ustadha Ayah Nageh was born in Egypt, and now lives in Turkey. She graduated from the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, Cairo University, with a BA in Arabic Language, Literature and Islamic Sciences. She has a Post-graduate Diploma in Teaching Arabic to non native Speakers, from the College of Graduate Studies of Education.
Ustadha Aya brings her rich seven years’ experience of teaching the Holy Quran and the Arabic language to Arabs and non-Arabs.
